Conflict mapping

This self-learning course gives you a brief introduction in the technique of conflict mapping. Conflict mapping is a technique that is used to show the relationships of conflict actors to each other and to the prioritized conflict. Conflict maps are helpful for understanding the conflict and in identifying opportunities to intervene. In order to help you to get familiar with this method, we will present you a case study of a conflict and show how to draw an appropriate conflict map.

As conflict mapping is one of the fundamental conflict analysis tools, this course is recommended to everybody who is engaged or interested in the field of conflict transformation.
